Happy New Year 2025

As the calendar turns to a brand-new year, I find myself reflecting deeply on the journey I’ve been on—and the path that lies ahead. Many of you know that 2024 was a year of unexpected challenges for me. On July 31st, I gave birth to my fifth precious child via an unplanned c-section. It was a life-threatening experience, one that tested my faith and strength in ways I never imagined. Yet, through it all, I felt the hand of God guiding me and holding me close. Today, as I write to you, I’m grateful to say I’m recovering well and am ready to step into this New Year with renewed hope and purpose.

Recovery was not an easy road. There were days when even the simplest tasks felt overwhelming. But what carried me through was the unwavering love of my family and the faith that God’s plan for me is always good, even when it’s hard to see in the moment. To all the moms out there navigating your own challenges—whether it’s physical recovery, emotional healing, or simply the daily juggle of motherhood—know this: You are stronger than you think, and you are never alone.

The New Year is often a time for setting goals and dreaming big. But this year, I’m focusing on something a little different: embracing grace. As moms, we’re so quick to put pressure on ourselves to do more, be more, and achieve more. But what if we gave ourselves permission to rest, to recover, and to simply be present? What if we celebrated progress instead of perfection?

In 2025, I want to encourage you to join me in this mindset shift. Let’s set intentions rather than resolutions. Let’s prioritize what truly matters: our faith, our families, and our well-being. Let’s let go of the guilt that so often weighs us down and instead step into the freedom that comes from trusting God with our lives.

Here are a few intentions I’m carrying into this New Year:

  1. Prioritize Self-Care: As moms, we’re often the last on our own list. This year, I’m committing to regular rest, nourishing my body with healthy foods, and carving out time for activities that bring me joy.

  2. Deepen My Faith: My journey over the past year has shown me just how vital it is to stay rooted in God’s word. I’ll be prioritizing daily devotionals and prayer as a foundation for my days.

  3. Celebrate Small Wins: Every step forward, no matter how small, is worth celebrating. Life is made up of little moments, and I want to treasure each one.

  4. Be Present: In a world full of distractions, I want to give my full attention to the people and moments that matter most.

As we step into 2025 together, I’d love to hear from you. What are your intentions for this year? How can I support you on your journey as a mom? Feel free to share in the comments or reach out to me directly. Let’s make this a year of grace, growth, and connection.

Thank you for being part of this incredible community. Your strength, love, and resilience inspire me every day. Here’s to a beautiful New Year filled with endless possibilities.

With love and gratitude,

Tatiana Janson, Founder of Best Mom Best Life
